A great day for all the winners of the Awards and Medals to commemorate a great achievement!!
A quick message to the 24 Hour Race competitors:
We are sorry that we couldn't cover this discipline this year due to other commitments, but hope to cover it next year.
We are getting lots and lots of "HITS" with these Images but only a couple of sales, we have reduced the price to £5 for a Digital Image to try to encourage you.
We will not be able to cover this event in the future if we cannot even cover our costs and that would be a great shame.
We appreciate that in this day and age it's very easy to use our site as a source to tell your friends "have a look" but this does not help us, we are not Facebook. We will have no alternative but to make the site a "subscription access only" site like so many other Picture Agencies if we continue to be used as just a viewing platform, this is not what we are. We take a lot of care in making sure the images are good enough before we put them up and any of you that were at the event and took pictures yourself will appreciate the work that has gone into "cleaning" the background. This sounds like whinging on a bit, but please put yourself in our position, we invest heavily in equipment then travel to the event, then spend at least a day sorting out the Images, is it worth it? - you tell us. As it stands today, we will not cover this event next year due to lack of sales, not lack of views - well over 1000.[/]
